"Immense fun session with Mikel, who was knowledgable, fun and informative. We were 9 in the session, worked in groups of 3, each preparing one of the paellas: vegetable, seafood and chicken&rabbit paella. We also made chorizo in cider ( super easy), aioli and cheesecake ( also super easy- but with important baking instructions). We also learnt a bit about Basque culture ( football!) and what is life like as a chef. Hats off, it is a super hard profession!"

"Great cooking class. The kitchen was lovely and bright and well equipped, the chef was good fun and interesting. The food was delicious. We had nibbles and wine to start then did the cooking and then ate lunch which we had made with lovely wine. Good fun, not challenging at all, lovely food!"

"Iin 10 days of travel in Spain, this was far and away the best activity we chose. Chef Mikel is passionate about his work and conveys his love of regional food to his students, and really knows his stuff. The kitchen is clean and beautiful and everything is well organized. We came away well-fed, with knowledge (and recipes!) of local food, wines, and customs, and now possess skills and memories that will last a lifetime. "We had an amazing time with our instructor, Mikel. I loved the small class size (6), and while I sometimes felt under-utilized, we made the BEST paella I've ever had - both a seafood and a chicken pan. Plus the sangria was phenomenal! We had a spot of trouble locating the restaurant because of a language barrier with the cab driver but once the class was over the staff called a taxi for us and made sure the driver spoke English and knew exactly where to take us. Couldn't have asked for more!"
